Mary Ann Robertson Foundation
Mary Ann Robertson Foundation was established in 2014. After the late Mary Ann Robertson passed in 2013 from an open heart surgery, her daughters, Melissa Richard and late Mary Jessica Owens alone with her niece, Mable Edwards and godchild, Rev. Marcus Lazard started this foundation in remembrance of her because she was a person who always was helping others, especially children. She would give her last to make sure a child didn't go without. She had custody of one of nieces and one nephew and, she was always with someone's child. Her mission was accomplished. We decided to keep her dream alive by trying our best to help children. In 2021, after one of our directors, Mary Jessica Owens passed, we were blessed to recruit three more members, Elizabeth Leday(2022), Kimberly Robertson (2023), Pamela Smith (2023), LaChristia Bradford (2024) and Lesa Doucette ( 2024). We may not be able to reach every child but we will help as many as God allow us too!
